Designing
We choose vibrant, eye-catching fabrics with Polynesian-inspired patterns, especially floral designs, to help our products stand out. We use small pieces of 100% cotton fabric that can be cut while keeping the pattern recognizable. We also incorporate lauhala, connecting our packaging to Hawaiian culture and tradition while keeping it practical and sustainable.
Importance of Storytelling
We like to keep our customers interested by bringing the taste and origins of our honey to life, helping them imagine the flavors and where they come from. We also give customers an on-site look behind the scenes, allowing them to see our hives, learn about what we do, and sometimes even enjoy a hands-on experience—something that sets us apart from other beekeeping businesses.
What Most Don't See
Something people may not realize is the devastation that can come with losing our bees. For example, a storm in March 2026 severely damaged a large part of our apiaries, resulting in the loss of not only our honey stock, but also many of the bees and natural resources needed to sustain them.
