Designing
We choose vibrant, eye-catching fabrics with Polynesian-inspired patterns, especially floral designs, to help our products stand out. We use small pieces of 100% cotton fabric that can be cut while keeping the pattern recognizable. We also incorporate lauhala, connecting our packaging to Hawaiian culture and tradition while keeping it practical and sustainable.
Importance of Storytelling
We like to keep our customers interested by bringing the taste and origins of our honey to life, helping them imagine the flavors and where they come from. We also give customers an on-site look behind the scenes, allowing them to see our hives, learn about what we do, and sometimes even enjoy a hands-on experience—something that sets us apart from other beekeeping businesses.
What Most Don't See
Something people may not realize is the devastation that can come with losing our bees. For example, a storm in March 2026 severely damaged a large part of our apiaries, resulting in the loss of not only our honey stock, but also many of the bees and natural resources needed to sustain them.
What has changed?
We’ve grown from selling just three dozen jars from our home to having an online storefront and attending local markets, while remaining a small, family-owned business rooted in our community. Although staying connected to our community has always been a big part of who we are, our reach has continued to grow through returning customers and curious community members who want to experience what we’re all about.
Hope For The Future
“Our goal isn’t necessarily to become a large-scale business. We want to grow at a pace that allows us to maintain the quality and meaning behind what we do, while trusting God to guide us toward whatever level of growth we are meant to reach—even if it challenges us to go a little further”.

Curious Thoughts
Many people ask if we alter our honey to create the flavors and textures we sell. The answer is no. Aside from our infused floral and fruit-flavored honeys, our raw honey is kept as nature intended. We simply remove the frames, uncap the comb, extract the honey using our spinner, and jar it for our customers. No unnecessary alterations—just honey from the hive to the jar.

“Being able to taste, see, touch, and ask questions helps customers feel more connected to our products and encourages them to support our business”.
